Position: Content Creator

Type: Part-Time (Tuesday-Friday)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Creator to join our team at Lash City. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for curating, producing, and managing captivating visual content across our social media platforms, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok. Your role will play a crucial part in enhancing our brand presence and engaging with our online community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with the studio's brand identity and marketing goals.
2. Create high-quality photo and video content showcasing lash treatments, studio environment, and related beauty content.
3. Film and edit engaging videos that highlight lash application techniques, before-and-after transformations, and other relevant content.
4. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase discoverability and drive organic traffic to our online platforms and website.
5. Manage and maintain a consistent posting schedule on Instagram and TikTok, ensuring a mix of promotional and informative posts.
6. Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
7. Design visually appealing graphics and visuals for email marketing campaigns and other promotional materials.
8. Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering a positive and interactive online presence.
9. Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for content innovation.
10. Provide insights and recommendations based on performance metrics to continuously improve content strategy and engagement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a content creator or social media manager, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling visuals and engaging videos.
- Proficiency in video filming, editing, and graphic design tools/software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and social media best practices.
- Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and ability to think outside the box.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with the beauty and cosmetics industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of lash treatments and techniques is an advantage.

As a Master Lash Artist, you will be responsible for providing top-tier lash extension services with expertise in various lash styles, including handmade volume, wispy, eye styling, lash lifts, and wet sets. Your exceptional skills and dedication will contribute to our studio's reputation for excellence in lash artistry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform a wide range of lash extension services, including classic, handmade volume, wispy sets, eye styling, wet sets, and lash lifts, tailored to clients' individual preferences and eye shapes.
2. Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend appropriate lash styles and techniques to achieve the desired results.
3. Create stunning lash designs that enhance clients' natural features, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest lash trends, techniques, and industry developments to continually refine and expand your lash expertise.
5. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering to studio hygiene and safety protocols.
6. Educate clients on lash aftercare and provide personalized recommendations to extend the longevity of lash extensions.
7. Uphold a high level of professionalism, customer service, and client satisfaction, fostering positive relationships and repeat business.
8. Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and supportive studio culture.
9. Assist in training and mentoring junior lash artists, sharing your knowledge and skills to elevate the overall talent within the team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Master Lash Artist, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on lash extension application experience.
- Expertise in various lash extension techniques, including classic, handmade volume, wispy, eye styling, lash lifts, and wet sets.
- In-depth understanding of eye shapes, lash design principles, and the ability to customize lash styles for each client.
- Knowledge of lash product selection, adhesives, and tools to achieve optimal lash outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with clients.
- Certification or training from a reputable lash extension program is highly desirable.
- Must have a valid NY cosmetology or esthetician license or be enrolled in beauty school.
- Keen attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for staying current with industry trends and innovations.
